Meet Maxim Neescas, Software Developer at Synkwise

This month, we’re highlighting Maxim Neescas, a talented Software Developer whose dedication and problem-solving skills help bring new features and improvements to life. Maxim plays a key role in ensuring Synkwise runs smoothly and efficiently. We got the chance to ask Maxim about his work at Synkwise and learn a little more about him outside of work too. Here’s what he shared.
1) Can you describe your role at Synkwise and what a typical day looks like for you?
I am a Software Developer. Every day starts with coffee and a daily standup with my team. Most of my day is spent coding, reviewing pull requests, and collaborating with the team to solve technical challenges.
2) How has your role evolved since joining the team, and what are some key skills you’ve developed along the way?
I started by working on small, simple tasks, and now I can take full responsibility for designing, developing, and implementing large modules from scratch. I’ve learned responsibility and how to work effectively in a team.
3) What has been your proudest accomplishment at Synkwise so far?
I often work on performance improvement and optimization tasks – and I’m happy when those efforts turn out successfully.
4) What do you enjoy doing in your free time? Do you have any hobbies or passions?
In my free time, I go to the gym, practice boxing, play table tennis and tennis, and I also enjoy walking and road trips.
5) Is there something surprising about you that your colleagues might not know?
I’m left-handed, something most people don’t notice or know about me
6) Do you have a personal motto or piece of advice that inspires you?
Progress over perfection.
7) Where do you see Synkwise going in the next 3-5 years, and what are you most excited about?
I hope Synkwise becomes a company that everyone in North America knows and trusts, a name that people associate with reliability. And I am excited to be part of this awesome team
